Combine Two PDFs in PdfCraft

GOAL Combine two short PDFs in the right order, save a new PDF, and check every page while keeping the originals.

01

Prepare the source files

Keep the two original PDFs in a folder and note the order you want them to appear.

CHECK YOUR RESULT

Both original documents remain available unchanged.

02

Open the first PDF

Open the document that should appear first in the combined file.

CHECK YOUR RESULT

Its pages are visible and in the expected order.

03

Add the second PDF

Use the combine or insert-pages tool to add the second document after the first.

CHECK YOUR RESULT

The page thumbnails now include both source documents.

04

Arrange the pages

Reorder or rotate any pages that need correction.

CHECK YOUR RESULT

The thumbnail sequence matches the final reading order.

05

Save and inspect

Save the result under a new name, then reopen it and scan every page.

CHECK YOUR RESULT

The new PDF opens with the expected page count and order.

PDF Files, Forms & Conversion Limits

PdfCraft works with PDF documents. A combined PDF is a new file; it does not replace the two source documents. Office documents and PDF forms are separate workflows with different compatibility needs.

Before editing or sending an important PDF

  • Keep an untouched copy of the source PDF.
  • Save the edited result under a new name.
  • Reopen it and review page order, text, forms and comments.
  • Check the file in the recipient's PDF viewer when compatibility matters.

PdfCraft was previously called PrintCraft. Use the current PdfCraft page and the storytold/pdfcraft repository for the active app and releases.
