Craft Apps GuideDesignCraft: page layout and official downloads
DesignCraft is ArtCraft's free, open-source page-layout app. Its official product page documents spreads, parent pages, text frames, threaded stories, styles and PDF export. If your job is a short publication, start with one page and check the file you will hand over before moving an entire project.
Start with one page
Try a one-page event sheet with a heading, two columns of copy, one image and a footer. Create text frames for the copy, apply paragraph styles, place the image, then export a PDF. Open the PDF in a separate reader: can you select the text, are the expected fonts present, and is the image sharp at its intended size? Those are checks for your file, not results of a test by this site. The official page describes the underlying layout and PDF features; it does not guarantee that every existing publication imports unchanged.

Get the official build
Open the official DesignCraft download page and choose the file for your operating system and processor. The page listed version 0.14.0 for macOS, Windows and Linux when checked on 31 October 2026; the current release may differ when you visit. You can also inspect the DesignCraft GitHub releases, including the published SHA-256 checksum file. The listed Web ZIP is a build to host yourself, not a promise of an instant hosted editor.
