Download SolidCraft from Its Official Source
SolidCraft is an independent open-source CAD project, separate from ArtCraft's CADCraft. Choose a current official desktop file for your system, or try SolidCraft in your browser. This site does not host installers.

Choose an official desktop build
Select your system. Processor and package choices appear only when the official release contains them.
Choose a system to see files from the same official stable release. The official Releases page ↗ is available at any time.
Choose a file with confidence
Check the operating system, processor and file extension on the official Release page before you download. A repository's “Source code” archive is not a desktop installer. If this page cannot verify one file, use the official release list rather than a guessed download link.
The project download page ↗ is another official reference. Check its listed release against GitHub before choosing a file; the two pages may update at different times. A checksum file, when published with the same release, can help compare downloaded bytes with the published list. A checksum is not a publisher signature.
First launch and a small check
- Keep the exact file name. Note which official release and package you downloaded. Keep the original installer while you test.
- Open it on your system. If it fails, record the exact security or dependency message and package name. Use the official Issues ↗ for a reproducible problem; do not disable system security as a generic fix.
- Save and reopen a small project. Make one sketch, change a dimension, save a .solidcraft copy, then reopen it before moving important work.
- Check the handoff. If another person needs the geometry, test an exchange copy in their CAD tool. Keep your editable native project separately.
Before you upgrade
Keep a copy of important projects. Version 0.22.0's release notes ↗ say its format 35 files cannot be opened by 0.21.0 or earlier. Check the notes for the version you choose; this dated example is not a rule for every future release.
